“I was born in 1972 in Toulouse, France. After studying Visual Arts for five years, I created my first paintings titled “Pigments and Wavelengths” in 1998. The concept behind these paintings is to combine two types of colors that vary depending on the intensity of the light, whether it is natural or artificial. I use pigments for painting and adhesive for wavelengths, which diffract light like a prism, creating kinetic colors that undulate with the light on my paintings.
My hometown, Toulouse, is known worldwide for being the capital of aeronautics and is a source of inspiration for my art. It is home to Airbus, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, and many other companies in the aeronautics and space sector. The movements and gestures in my art come from Action Painting and the Zen of Asian painting.
