Edeleweiss Cobblestone

I have had a diverse range of jobs over the years, and I often draw inspiration from these experiences for my artwork. I have served as a soldier, worked as a deep-sea diver in ship salvage and the world’s oilfields, raced sailboats, and worked as a yacht rigger and artisan. On top of that, I am also an artist.

Although I have always been fascinated by art history and traditional art, I have never had any formal training in this field. Instead, I am a self-taught painter, and I primarily use oil paints for my artwork. However, I often create watercolor sketches as studies for my final pieces.

My artwork is figurative, somewhere between realism and impressionism. It covers a wide range of subjects, including seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes, and religious depictions. My name is David but I paint under the pseudonym "Edelweiss Cobblestone."
