Painting “On the way home”. This is a surreal depiction of a deserted planet in the cosmos. There are a few columns along the motorway. These columns are inspired by a work of art that stands in the courtyard of Palais Royal in Paris, I was very impressed by this square, with the artwork. The atmosphere, colors, serenity, etc. The planet moves through the universe. The earth can be seen.
About the artist
Robert van den Herik is a contemporary Dutch artist who currently resides in Belgium. He draws inspiration from magical realism and surrealism, with Salvador Dali being a particular influence. Carel Willink is another painter whose work he admires.
Robert initially worked in the medical field, but at the age of 30, he decided to study product design at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. This education gave him a deeper understanding of design processes, as well as production techniques. It also exposed him to the art world and various art styles and techniques. He became a fan of the Memphis style.
Robert worked as a product designer for various companies after completing his studies. He also designed his own product, the Shantala baby bath, which revolutionized the way babies are bathed. The product was both aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically designed while being environmentally friendly.

A Proof of Provenance is an official document that establishes the genuine nature of an artwork. Issued by a credible authority, this may be signed directly by the creator, the gallery representing the creator, or the specialist who collaborated with the artist. In cases of traded artworks, authenticated bodies or designated foundations may issue such certifications.
These documents are comprehensive, usually detailing the artist’s name, specifics of the artwork (including title, creation date, materials used, size), and ideally, an image of the art piece itself.
