This is one of three pictures whose theme is party goers on the brink of meltdown. In this case the painting is loosely based on a house in L.A. called The Spiral Staircase which notoriously attracted an assortment of cultists in the late 1960s, most notably Charles Manson. It hopes to capture the unease and delirious quality of the times and milieu.

A Proof of Provenance is an official document that establishes the genuine nature of an artwork. Issued by a credible authority, this may be signed directly by the creator, the gallery representing the creator, or the specialist who collaborated with the artist. In cases of traded artworks, authenticated bodies or designated foundations may issue such certifications.
These documents are comprehensive, usually detailing the artist’s name, specifics of the artwork (including title, creation date, materials used, size), and ideally, an image of the art piece itself.
