Overview
ArtRewards is a curated online marketplace for original art, connecting artists with collectors and buyers across the world. This page explains how representation works, what selling involves, and where to find the detail behind each stage of the process.
Our role is straightforward. ArtRewards acts as your agent, marketing and promoting your work to facilitate sales. The relationship is one of representation, not ownership, and it is designed to extend the reach of your practice to a discerning international audience.
How Representation Works
A few principles define your relationship with ArtRewards. Each is covered in full on the supporting pages linked below.
- Non-exclusive representation. You retain the unrestricted right to exhibit, sell, or transact your work through any other gallery, platform, agent, or channel at the same time. Joining places no limit on your wider practice.
- You retain title. You hold full legal and beneficial title to every artwork at all times. Title transfers directly to the buyer only when a sale is completed. This is not a consignment arrangement.
- No minimum obligations. There are no sales targets, listing quotas, or time-based commitments. You engage with the platform at your own pace.
Platform Access
Joining ArtRewards on Basic Access is free and the default for every newly accepted artist. Once your application is approved, we create your login credentials at no cost and send them to you by email.
Basic Access includes:
- Upload of up to 10 artworks per month through your dashboard
- Full access to analytics, including view counts and real-time insight into traffic, engagement, and sales performance
- A personalized profile where you manage your biography, images, and artwork details such as price and availability
- No hidden fees on standard features
ArtRewards retains a 35% commission on each sale, leaving you with 65% of the proceeds after successful delivery.
Once you are accepted, you can review the full range of available access options directly in your dashboard and choose whether to upgrade at any time. Each option's features are displayed there, so you can select the level of access that suits your practice.
What We Expect from Artists
A few core obligations protect buyers, safeguard the marketplace, and protect you as a seller. Each is explained in detail on its dedicated page.
- Accurate listings. You are responsible for providing and maintaining correct information for each work, including its medium, dimensions, price, availability, and location.
- Certificate of Authenticity. Every original work must ship with a signed COA, issued by ArtRewards or generated by you.
- Professional shipping. You package each sold work professionally and dispatch it with a signature-required courier.
- Taxes. You are the seller of record and remain responsible for all taxes in your jurisdiction. ArtRewards acts strictly as your agent.
